Farmers Market Season

It is that time of year again! It is time to visit your favorite farmers markets around the Denver area. You can find farmers markets all over and throughout the week. When you visit your local farmers market you are supporting small businesses. These markets go beyond produce. Most markets will have breads and pastries, ceramics, jams and sauces, food trucks, local honey, lotions and soaps, just to name a few other amazing products to be found. Produce is still the star of the show at these markets. Supporting local farmers is a way to give back to your community and getting the freshest produce you can. A good challenge would be to try a new fruit and vegetable each week or to try a new recipe with the produce available each week.
